How would Flowtech headers be for a 2001 4.8 Silverado? They are made by Holley so I assume they are good. They are 300 dollars

I have two sets of flo-tech headers, one set on my 88 k2500 350 and one on my 84 k20 350. Bang for your buck there a good header, and easily avalible. But, if your looking for pretty, keep looking. The welds kinda look like a 10 year old made them, and is the reason that I spent a few hours with my grinder and tig welder making them look like they should.

I'm just looking for performance, not looks. So these headers are worth the money, will they make my truck run better and sound better or should I look at another brand. I just like these because they were made by Holley and they are only 300 bucks.

That price seems kinda inflated. iirc the mid-length flo-techs for my 88 was like 180? I know a kid who has pacesetter long tubes on a nbs 5.3 and hes enjoying some new found low-end after the headers and a custom tune. I think his were somewhere around 300.
