cold air kit????

ok so i have a k1500 with the 350 it it. i was just about to buy the airaid cold air kit and TBI spacer but then i seen one installed on a truck and noticed it did not come with a heat shield. so what brand of cold air kit does come with a heat shield?

cold air kits come with air boxes, any kit that has just a shield will not pull in cold air, imo. volant has an enclosed box that gets only cold air
