I want to put my tahoe on a dyno for the first time, anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I have been calling around for prices and the only one I have gotten so far is $95 for a baseline run. is there any other kind of run? the guy said a tuning run, I dont know what that means. thanks for the help

A baseline run will be just one pull to establish your "baseline" so you can see what you are putting out.
A tuning session will be more than one pull with a chance to make tune up chances or swap a couple parts (within reason), then make another pull to see what gains you got.
Up here there is only one dyno in town and its $140 an hour. FWIW.

For $95 I would hope you get more than just one pull. Mine was $75 for 3 pulls to include print out of results with AFR readings.

Not a truck but I have had my car awd dyno tuned twice first time $350 the second time $450. Took around 2 hours to setup, baseline, tune then break down.

I paid $560 to get my truck fully tuned with a baseline run, and a final HP/ Tq run.

Baseline from any respectable operator will be 3 pulls w/printout, o2/HC monitored externally (independent) don't expect both pipes on duals. $95 is cheap.
