2/4 drop OBS

Wondering if the DJM 2/4 drop kit is fine. Everyone says to stay away from hangers why?

Hangers are just a hassle not really hard just a pain in the ass, and plus usually you end up dropping it more afterwords anyway. DJM is fine, thats what my 3/4 was.

Do I have to remove the bed to put hangers in, and how good do they ride.

The bed can stay on if you have a little patience. The ride is pretty close to stock,except you're missing 4" of travel. It will probably bottom out occasionally until you figure out where all the bumps are.
