Well I just bought my first truck:biggrin: It needs some work but thats fine with me. After restoring CJ's for 10 years I finally decided I need a truck. I didnt want anything with a computer or fuel injection so I went to the older ones. I couldnt find anything in the early 70's so I went to the late 70's.
My must haves were
4wd
8ft bed
Chevy or GMC

I ended up finding a 77 Chevy 3/4 Ton 4wd Camper Special with a Omaha Standard Bed. I am getting rid of the omaha bed to find another factory style bed. all for 600 bucksMinimal rust except passenger cab corner and driver rocker panel nothing I cant fix

Any info you can provide for me would be great I look forward to meeting new people on this forum:biggrin:

Here is a newer version of the bed that is on the truck I will get pictures up this weekend. My bed is about 10 years older and has short side rails and wood slats instead of all steel
