Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But what are you guys running for scent if any? My truck smells like leather inside and i want something good but not too strong.
And if you could, tell me what type of scent, like what company makes them and such

big fan of the vanilla, not really brand loyal on it though..if i cant find vanilla, then its coconut...always has been, always will be. is clean, and simple, as long as you take care of your interior and keep your carpets from getting funky with moisture or anything else

If it's not deer season, and I have anything in there, it is auto expressions ultra gel coconut.

I use the meguiers car odor eliminator once a week on any fabric in the truck along with the tuff stuff cleaner on anything fabric along with a good vacuuming and i use the midsummers night yankee candle air freshner (i tuck it under the little cup holder in front of the center seat). Dont laugh my truck is a 2000 with over 170K on it and you can eat off the carpet and it smells like a new truck no joke. Always gets compliments on how clean the inside smells.

Well if you're worried about it use what I use. I use the scent wafers for deer hunting, but only the earth scent, I like the way it smells anyway.

My truck usually smells of fart. But, if I have a date coming up and I want to get rid of the fart smell, "whatever" brand vanilla goes in.

I quit smoking, but my truck still smells like nearly 10 years of tasty tobacco.....
I detailed the interior last year and pulled the seats, steam cleaned the carpet and seats but it still smells like smoke. I figure it's the headliner so I may undertake re-upholstering it with suede someday.

Get on your game guys...
CINNABERRY FTW!
The truck is the only thing I really even use air freshener in. It just works for some reason, haha.
Another trick is a squirt of cologne in the air vent...

i have vanilla in one and wild rose in the other. i like the vent things, they just clip into the vents and when the heater is on it warms them and spreads the scent more. i just buy mine at walmart

If you are trying to remove a bad odor such as tobacco, use fire d one shot. That stuff will kill any odor.
Ozium works well also.

Shhh don't tell but i took a can of Aerosol Spray from work that smells great and use it in my truck. Its kinda pricey but one can is good for like 50k sprays and its potent stuff so one spray is almost to much at first and it smells GREAT. you can get it here http://nilodor.com/shop/show/category/Pet_%2526_Home/department/Room_Deodorizers/id/30 The whole site is awesome Ive bought some rug cleaners from them for my carpet and its like brand new again. its all industrial grade ****.

Well since the previous owner of my truck smoked up a storm in my truck, I since then cleaned all the interior and floors, then bought a vent clip thingy with New car scent, and little new car scent trees. I don't like the trees on the rear view mirror so I hang one on the emergency break pedal, and another on the gear selector close to the column.
I'm higly considering switching to coconut now.

dryer sheets. preferably snuggle
I found what looks like a hand carved wooden turtle on a wood beaded necklace. It's a car freshner by CK. Looks good and smells good.
Headliner, seats and carpet get fabreezed twice a week.

I stole a yellow vanilla one out of my friends car and it smells really good. I never wanted to make my truck smell fake or to make it look like I was trying to cover up any smoke smell since my truck has never been smoked in but I plan to put those vanilla trees all in there.

I use Tim Hortons double double, sweetest smell there is

the canadians on here will know what a double double is
I find most scents are way too strong anyway, besides a truck should smell like a truck, not my grandmas house :stir:

What a bunch of SISSIES. :gay2:
Ok now I can own up to being one too.:loser:
I'm one of those nasty smokers but rather than quit(LIKE I SHOULD) I don't like the smell in my truck. I vanilla lavender & comfort fabreze spray(interior and sometimes in vents) after carpet fresh and vacume. leather seats get saddle soap then Mcguires leather. O'Reily sells GINORMOUS trees so one black ice one vanilla on the hooks above the back seat(hair ties or rubber bands to keep the F'ers from blowing off with the window down:cussing:)
I have a vent oil thingy and will gradually buy a few more and go to the home section of wally world to buy the little bottles of oil for refill.
I have a cup holder in the center console that removes in 2 seconds and am looking on how to drill a hole with a hole saw or cut a square and re seal with a snap in grommet or something so I can drop trees in or a home made scent oil can( something like a badger balm tin drill holes in the removable lid cut a small sponge like from a scrubbie to fit soak with oil OR take one of those circle air freshners like a stick up and when its done modify it. They sell GIANT ones at yup you guessed it the auto section at WALLY WORLD!! Where would we be with out wal-mart LOL) so when the heater/ac is on it blows it to the rear vents and fills the truck up with aroma.
I sure hope I don't get my man card revoked for sharing.:argue::looking:
