That's too bad you aren't closer, the JY are littered with these axles after the CFC program.

well if it makes ya feel better i just got one just like you described for 175$ locally... lol

i waited years to find one local. its a god idea to check car-parts.com, its listing from all the salvage yards in your state, most all of them ship and some ship for free. iv got things liek transfer cases, driveshafts, ect from car parts and all of them shipped to my work for free.

anyone else?

www.car-parts.com

call the places, 90% of them will ship it, some places ship for free. when i need a part, i just go punch it in on car parts and proceed to call all the listing till i hit one with free shipping or one thats cheapest normally.

dude that thing weighs about 450 awkward lbs. Don't count on getting one bought and shipped for under $600

its possible. i got my transfer case delivered free because they ship free to businesses, so i had them ship it to the shop i work at. it came on a flat bed trailer, its not like they ship it through ups, it doesn't cost them any more to ship a heavy item, its the kind of thing they ship every day. id be willing to bet there is a salvage yard out there that will ship an axle possibly for free as long as its to a business.

even if they charge for shiping, that only cost about $200(got a quote to ship my 10 bolt). im sure you could find one for around $400.

unless you plan on actually just buying an axle and puting it in lol. your going to have to rebuild it. i mean, when i say i think you can get one for under $600, i mean you could have one, not have one ready to put in. plan on about $1,000 all said and done. thats really not all that bad considering how much people pay for ford 9" and aftermarket 12 bolts for project cars and trucks.

just keep in mind how pricey it could get if its missing things like the drums, yoke, if you want a locker, ect. iv got around $1500 total(from u bolts/hardware, to breaks and everything in between) in mine and i started with a $150 rear end, complete with everything short of the drums, even came with wheel spacers that i will need since its a 2wd axle

im trin to get away from wheel spacers, thats why im lookin for one.

? you can search for 4x4 axles on car parts. it will give you a list of every axle available for you to choose.

theres nothing wrong with a quality spacer anyway.
