2x4 steering box in a 4x4

Hey guys,
i am thinking putting a 2x4 steering box out of an 454ss truck into my 98 k1500 to gain the better turning ratio. Has anyone ever done this? Am I going to run into oversteer issues and put a bind on the front CV shafts?

you should be alright i pt one out of a zq8 s10 in my blazer with no issues

Well i ended up putting a steering box out of a 95 gmc into mine. Half the price and works like a champ.

Explain better turning radius? Are dropped? Lowered? What size rim? ALWAYS LOOKS FOR BETTER STEERING AND SUSPENSION!
