Buying a low dollar system for the Burb. I want 2 12's and a small amp for them. Going through Crutchfield. I was looking at the Buy 1 get 1 deal on the Kenwoods, but I have no clue on amps??? I have to keep this under $400. I am going to put high end wiring, and just replace the components later on as I get the money. I put my old system in the wifes car, and she will not give it back like her and I talked about last week :D I know everyone will say do it once, and go all out, but I want something fast and nice to last about a year.

if you are staying with stock head power for the rest of the system, you might as well go with a single 12 and around 150 watts powering it. search previous threads for issues regarding the bass cutoff at high volume feature in the stock head. i went with a single kenwood 12 after having two infinity 12s and not being able to find a good middle ground between enough bass and too much bass. still not satisfied, but its my wifes yukon and i'm not allowed to play with it anymore.

alot of bass for my yukon, I'm thinking about moving that amp(because it's 2 chans) up front to power the future component speakers and putting a new one in the back.
