Gauge Lights

I have the face plate off of my dash right now and I have access to all the lights that light up my gauges. I am debating replacing them with either a brighter bulb or colored bulbs. Could I put brighter bulbs in without hurting anything? Any suggestions? Thanks

i think they make led replacement bulbs wich would be worth it since they dont get super hot like old style bulbs and they last longer too.

You can get some really bright replacements and you have a good choice of colors. :cool:
