ok my buddys truck runs great but once the motor warms up it dies and wont start till it cool off the temp in normal and the engine makes no funny noises any ideas?

It sounds like your PMD / FSD. However, I would also check your grounds.

Go to www.thedieselpage.com for answers. Search on 'Stalling' and you will find lots of info. It is a common problem

/btw 6.5 is not d-max

it could be the PMD...but sounds like an IP to me
BTW a 6.5 is not a duramax
