curious what you guys think would be best....
before i had duals out the rear, but when i lowered my truck i had to cut off those new pipes only a month old :(
i went to the muffler shop today after work for them to rebend my pipes to put them out the rear again BUT he couldnt do it with 2.5inch pipes since my axle and bed bracing was so close he said he might be able to do 2inch pipe but id rather stay large so i took the truck back home and cut out the bed bracing myself since he didnt have time to cut it out and probably didnt want to do it anyways.
well my thing is if i run duals out the rear then i gotta put the spare tire in the bed to keep the pipes clear of the tire since i dont think there is enough room to clear.
OR i run the duals over the axle and out the passenger side behind the axle sideways.
i just dont know which way to go.... on one hand i would rather keep the spare tire under the truck.... and id also like to keep the duals out the rear with some nice stainless tips.
so its a 50/50 i lose both ways... and if i put them out the sides then i would probably just hide the pipes the most i can.
im just tired of the drone sound driving with the pipes just open after the mufflers infront of the axle.
i go back friday for them to try again. so i got aday to figure out how i want them to do it.
and no i cannt move my spare tire further back.... its already riding the back of the hitch. :read:
right now im alittle more towards just typical out the rear with some 4inch 45cut stainless tips.

and no i cannt cut a straight line.LOL i wish i had a plasma cutter!!!!!!! i just got a small cut off wheel. next year when i remove the bed im going to weld in some square tube bracing there to strengthen it again. and when i do THEN ill grind down the metal straight ;) it will be ALOT EASIER with the bed off the truck thats for sure! im also going to fix the rusty spots before they get to bad.
