Where is the hottest place to install a temp gauge on my 4L60E? I want somewhere thats pretty accurate so I know the worst.... Gonna be adding a huge cooler also.

on the side of the pan or test port.

Sweet thats what I though I just wasnt sure where the test port was. Ive heard of people putting it there also but just wasnt sure how accurate it was. Thats the simplest place to install it without an aftermarket pan or modding the stock one!! Thanks Neuman

Pressure test port is probably the most acurate place besides the pan. My truck usually runs about 150*F on a warm day
