Well it finally got cold enough for a light frost here. I defrosted my windshield and my front windows on my '06 2500hd were partially defrosted when i tried to roll them down (power windows) to pull out on the road. None of my windows would roll down and they were almost completely defrosted. I have had a K1500 before and that truck would power the windows down with a layer of ice on them. This does not seem normal. All four windows are doing this. What should I or could I do to fix this problem other than spraying deicer on my windows every morning for the next 4 months. Is it the seal at the bottom freezing to the window or something else.
Thanks for any help, I just think something isn't quite right with this.

Ah, yes I have had some experience with this.
To get the window unjammed hold the button down and slam the door.
To keep the window from freezing, or to unfreeze the window get a jug of RV antifreeze from a parts store and pour a capfull of it along the sill.

I had the same thing happen to me today, for the first time, in my 1500hd. all four windows.

Get a pair/set of outer door belts from dealer or LMC, etc, to stop the moisture from getting inside the door.

Dumb question how easy are they to install?

I don't know about the '06, but on my '88 I had to remove the side mirrors. Other than that they're easy.
