I got a old semi turbo, laying here. I wanna mount it on top of my intake and mount the throttle boddy on the intake end. Chop a hole in the hood and go.

Now there is a few things i realize. This might not work (don't care)

This is a bad idea (i know the truck is junk)

if it does work it will have more lag than a 1.6 with twin turbo v8's (i want it to break lose at 3000rpms.

its on my 92 tbi stepside...

ideas thoughts lol

You'll have nothing more than never ending lag if anything at all.

like a supercharger. its sucks the air through the throttle body. not pushing through it..

Even if it worked all it would do is hold the throttle butterflys open.

Would it be better to have to blow through.

this is not about making power lol. its about getting some stupid redneck **** to work.

so let me get this straight.

your going to mount a turbo and exhaust that will climb to 6-700 degrees fairly easy...........

directly under the tbi?

:fail:

LucasD

That was just an idea.......Calm down with the failness.

This whole pickup was a boat of fail before i even thought of this.

I just want someone to see it and say "THAT MOTHER ****ING IS ****ING CRAZY"

you know. for fun, the stuff we used to have before everyone started thinking everything has to be perfect. but anyways you got a better idea.

do a traditional turbo set up. you can fab your own turbo headers and run a blow through carb. watch your EGT and pray it doesnt explode. or pray it does explode if youre into that sorta thing. cheap and still kinda "redneck"
