ok i used it for the track and have now gonae fullDD with my carb.....ya you all can complain all ya want i love it...lol.....
any how.....i use my ostrich and turned off all the ses codes for tps and iac and stuff...then i jsut keep my map sensor hoocked up to the carbs full manifold port...so that as load changes so will timing......but do i neeed to change my timming any with a carb vs my tbi setup or leave it? what does a graph of a hei disty loook like?.....any help here please..

Personally, I would just use a standard HEI type dizzy with the carb. No reason not to, and it'll save you some headaches trying to get computer controlled timing dialed in.

i thought about doing this myself awhile back just to play around with, the only thing that bothered me was getting it to work with a 4l60E because i would have to keep the TPS.

i dont see any reason to mess with the timing if you already had it dialed in

Check out my carb & ignition tuning guide... and if you tuned your ignition timing for the TBI with the similar theories. I suppose you would be able to use the computer controlled dist.
