C1500 springs in a K1500?

I'm wanting to go a couple inches lower, but I really don't want to deal with installing hangers. Since C1500 trucks sit 2" lower than K1500's, I was curious if installing C1500 springs would give me 2" more drop.

Same spring pack, unless your K1500 has the heavy duty pack with 4 leafs + overload. Typical K1500 and C1500 are the same exact pack - 3 leafs + overload, direct swap. I haven't compared the frames but I'd imagine the difference is in the hanger design and position, since they use the same shackles, too.

Well, compare 'em before you take my word for it. I'm not a 4x4 expert. :D

Richard when me and you grabbed my springs and compared the frames to another 4x4 I believe the hanger IS taller with extra mounting holes on the 4x4 frames but they get their extra 2" out of the frame SIZE on the 4x4. The front hangers mount the same thats why 2wd drop hangers will bolt right up to a 4x4. hope that helps
