Rear seat flip mod? I have been searching but can't find the ACTUAL thread with the pics etc.

Yes please elaborate. What year truck, are you trying to make the rear seat of an extended cab fold forward like the OBS trucks?

99-02 NBS. It makes the rear seat back able to fold down, but only after you raise the bottom.

It's by modifying the hooks that are on the back, but not sure how far to cut etc...

Start with 1/2 inch. That seems like what it took to get it to work. You can always cut a little more if thats not enough.

I dont know if you noticed but only your rear seat bottom folds, unlike the obs trucks where the bottom and top would fold. You can cut the little taps down some on the back of the upper seat cushion so that when you pull the handle to fold the bottom, the upper cushion is able to be folded as well. Simple little mod if you have a need to do it, such as amps behind the seat.

Here is how much I cut and its working fine. I think I could have left about a 1/4" more on there though. I cut mine while in the truck, just had someone hold a large damp towel up to block all the sparks. This is on my 03 not a 99-02 though.
