hey guys just wanted to see what everyone thinks about this. i have a 99 silverado 2500 6.0 4x4 ECSB with the 4L80E. theres nothing wrong with the tranny i just prefer a manual. within the near future im looking to do a cam swap and possibly some head work. think the t56 will do ok? anything i should look at to beef up? any other parts i might need to make this work? the guy said it came out of a nbs RCSB 4.8 he swapped it into. heres the ad.

low-mile, non grindy T-56
manual x-member and trans mount
clutch pedal/master assembly
Z06 slave.
remote bleeder line.
pro-5.0 shifter with custom extended handle, and GTO gray leather factory knob.
ill throw in a stock f-body clutch and flywheel thats in great shape too.

$1400

might be an issue with your truck. does it have the hd frame? or standard half ton frame.

if it came out of an f body (Camaro, Trans-Am).. it's probably been pounded a fair bit..
buyer beware...

hd. are you thinking a clearance issue of some sort? he had it in a half ton nbs if that makes any difference

well if i had a zf6 with everything i needed to install...maybe...lol. probably a bit more expensive.

ok if it has been beat what would be parts to replace? forks etc?

I was thinking the hd frame is different in respects to the crossmember fitment.
