Throttle gets stuck , 84 c-10

I just got the truck and have been driving it for about 2 months. Every once in a while when I turn it on I give it gas to get everything working right. The throttle will pull itself foward and stay there until I shut it off and restart. The idle will come back down but as soon as I touch the pedal it does it again. Last time it did this it stopped doing it by itself and I have drove it for awhile now and it just started doing it again. Any ideas?

Check the throttle return spring on the carb.

Throttle return spring is fine. I think something is tripping the idle solenoid and it raises the rpms. I shut it off and it goes back to normal. Its been fine just started doing it by itself. Guess Ill by a new solenoid and see what happens.
