need some help on this

hey, i have an idea for my truck. i dont know if it will work or not though. need some ideas and tricks of the trade. I want to put the escalade gauge cluster(the one you can swap into the 99 and up silverados) and put it in my 88 silverado. i know i will have to redo the entire dash on the driver's side. I am already planning on ripping out the dash and welding in a new custom made dash that my dad and myself have built. I know i might have to use some fiberglass, but shouldnt all of this wire right up?

If you're thinking it should just plug in, no. Not even close. Lots of rewiring will need to be done for this to work.
