Have this Holley (List# 4698 (C90F-9510-R)) I know its off a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, I know its 600 CFM but i cant tell if its a single or double pumper.
-Has a single inlet on the drivers side
-Has a line connect both front and back blocks on the Passenger side
-Only has mixture screws on the front Metering block, None on back
-No acceleration Pump on back

That carb is for a 69-71 Mustang & Torino with a 351W. That is a single due to the fact that you only have one accelerator pump. The secondaries are vacumme operated. The pressure drop under the rear barrells will suck the fuel out of the carb.

Thanks, Thats what i though, But the guy at the Parts tore told me it was a double.
Couple questions, What is the little flapper thing for on top of the bowl? and whats the line on the passenger side for?

The flap on the forward barrels is the choke butterfly.
And if your parts store guy thought that was a double pumper...Id steer well clear of him :read:
The vac secondary diaphragm behind the electric choke is a dead giveaway.

Well he wasnt certain, he just said that it looked like the gas entered in one side and went to the other, He never did flip it over to look at the pumps.

He didn't need to. Its clear as day right side up, lol. The plunger behind the choke (1st pic) is a giveaway on its own. Flipping it over and finding no accelerator pump. My 4160 (vac secondary) has a line connection the two bowls too, but its on the driver side and is alot more hidden.
Just giving your parts guy a hard time

My dads Demon (basically a Holley) is Vac Secondary and a DP.
Anyways, What do you guys think, I order a rebuild kit ($35) and plan to rebuild it, But is it too small for my 350?

My engine builder called my 600 vac too small for my 355. Still made 370HP with it. Up to you really.

For a $35 rebuild kit I don't think you can go wrong with just trying it out.

Don't knock the quadrajet. People talk bad about them but they can be built to handle alot of horsepower. The ones on the Caddy 472 & 500 were 850,s

I have one meant for a 455 Buick sitting on the shelf, I just would rather run a Holley on my Truck, and save my Good Q-Jets for my race car.
