cs130 alternator wiring with carb

i swapped my 95 burban to carb and ditched the computer all together and the alternator isnt charging.my cs130 alternator has a 1 wire harness and id like to check if its getting voltage but i dont know what i should be checking for on that one wire harness.any ideas ?

wheres the brown wire going to? you need it hooked up or alternator wont charge the battery.
are you still using the factory guage cluster.
