Looking for some sort of tonneau cover for my truck which is a nbs xcab short bed. Really would like some security with it, but do not want a hard shell for being able to haul larger things. I pull a boat and would like to be able to put tubes, portable grill and other things in it with out them walking off while I'm on the boat. Really like the roll up aluminum ones, but not a fan of the 1k price range that they seem to fall in. Any other suggestions from you more experienced owners?

im in the same boat you are unfortunatly its either the soft cover or the folding metal ones but the way i look at right at 1k or a little less is better than a cheap 200 soft roll up that someone can just slice through is worth it...but go to stylintrucks.com. they have the backflip cover for 630 up to 800..thats my next purchase after getting intake manifold gasket done...but the back flip litterally takes a few min to install and the only way to open it is if the tailgate is open and if you have a locking tailgate your set
