yeah i have the chance to buy 4 for 2k each but they have had parts removed a local mining company imports them to australia without compliance so they cant be regoed so only good for parts. i thought the fire wall might be a problem my truck has had a full respray and hasnt seen bitumen for 7 years

Oh my god its a 6.7 too.

and 6spd. Jizzz..

I don't think anyone has ever done that swap before so good luck...that transmission alone is much taller than a typical NV4500, the G56 also weighs about #350 so have fun.....but it will be awesome when its done

Two words. Body lift. You really did steal that though man, that sounds like a 10k truck here. If it is wrecked.

6.7's are junk unless you delete the DPF. Didn't read the whole thread, hope you're doing that. Heck, might not even come with it down there.

Junk is a strong word. They are just better without the emissions

I'm gonna guess it doesn't have it since he said it was imported by a mining company and doesn't comply with Aussie laws for road going vehicles.

Looks like you need to register on some Cummins forums as well.

The good thing is you have the whole truck so finding a computer and all the other wiring you need wont be a issue. I was gonna put a 12 valve p-pump cummins in a 52 F-1 ford but I couldnt even find a motor for $2000 let alone everything I needed. You got lucky to say the least.
