So this weekend I was doin some work at my friends farm/ranch type thing (more of a house with some horses and chickens I guess). Anyways, the old neighbour came over for a few drinks around noon.

He kept goin on about us havin spend all day sunday taking down this fair sized maple in the front yard that's been dead for a couple years and how much work its gonna take and blah blah blah.

So I told him, "eff that, it wont be that hard... I could pull that out with my truck!" he responded "well I'd bet ya that you couldn't". So it was pretty well on from that point. We kind of chirped each other back and fourth for a bit untill I got fed up with it. I slapped 50 bucks down on the table and said lets do this.

Go out to the tree and start hookin up some slings to the mid section off the tree. Start gettin a little scared because the tree appeared much more solid that I had first thought it was.

Well, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talkin... 4 tugs later... :fsc1:

yea that's what I thought, I hooked up to it as high as I could. I figured if it was really rotten, I'd snap it off halfway or something. I never thought it would break that clean under ground lmao.

yea I shoulda titled it tree pull I guess. Well I dunno, kind of a stump pull... cuz it sure aint in the ground any more!

yep wining the bet was the best part, especially cuz I didn't think it was gonna happen, and he's the type of guy that wouldn't make a bet unless it was a sure thing.

Here's one I pulled with my truck when it sat on 33s...

That's a 36" steel door jamb laying to the right of it, to give you some scale to the size. Never underestimate the power of your Bowtie!!!

oh it wasn't the power I was underestimating! I was more concerned about twisting up the frame on my DD LOL.

Because I tied on to it up high, it was pulling the rears of the truck 3 feet off the ground the second and third yank so I'm told.

thank yah, I like everything except the flares (cops made me install them because it's illegal to have your tires stickin out past the fenders where I live), and that my stacks stick up so far past the roof. Nothin to pout about really tho. I still love her. I'll love her more when she's 7-8 inches taller with some 37" bogger shoes :rocking:

I actually really like the flares. I'll be putting some on my truck soon when I get some new tires.
