Catalytic Converter Fix.......

Anybody know how to fix a catalytic converter without welding i think i have a chunk broke of inside and it is driving me crazy. A horrible rattling sound at a certain rpm but i dont ever hear it at idle no matter what i hold the rpms at. any ideas?

if you have glass packs or straits you can beat on them with a hammer and they will throw all that **** out of the exhaust

doesnt a catalytic converter have a screen on the ends of it?

I gutted the cats on my Tahoe a few years ago. I removed the whole exhaust assembly from the headers to the flange just after the cats. I just shoved a crowbar into the rear most cat and busted everything up good and dumped that out. The forward cat, I had to grind a section outta the cat and gut the insides and then weld it back in. I cut the section outta the top so you couldn't tell.
