5.7L Vortec right? Not sure if the stock injectors will work for lots of boost, but 6lbs is right on the line of "maybe."

fuelpump, headers, injectors like stated, maybe cam, and upgraded timing chain all stuff you might want to look into what did it come with

yes u have to do the marine intake to be able to upgrade injectors.....or u can get a ramjet intake, which is supposed to be even better, except on the ramjet, the throttle body mounts on the front, so u would have to make a CAI or buy one for a NBS truck

Well, if it comes w/ the electronics and the aux injectors, i think @ 6psi, you could get away using that...it is made to go on a stock engine :dunno:

Not sure you really need the 4.56 with that setup. You could more than likely do 4.10's. :dunno:
You don't need the marine intake unless you want to get rid of the Whipple electronics & aux injectors. However, if you are looking for one hit up The_Husk on ppe. He's got one up for sale.

In any case start stashing lots & lots of $$$.

im going with 4.56 bc eventually i would like some 37s. btw thx for the link......but what exactly is the marine intake. I know you loose the spider injectors and can run bigger ones, but whats it come off of and what needs to be done to them to bolt them on our trucks?

110% correct. The only thing you should get is a shift kit....if you already don't have one. it will help the stock tranny hold up a "little" longer.

....the whipple won't bolt up or work. :nono:

well the whipples in and there are alot of wires and a couple little "computer boxes" can I really ditch ALL of that just by getting a tune?

Not sure, but you may have to get a newer pcm. Email the tuner of your choice and ask, he will know.

No, you can ditch all that by getting the marine intake. The poppet injectors are 19# injectors, with the marine you can run any size you want, and cure the fueling problems you'll have running the whipple.
Who is doing your tuning?
I'd switch to the 0411 pcm either way, its a better pcm all around. :aniteef:

Talk to Justin about it, you can get a 0411 tuned for the application......see what he recommends as far as the fueling issues.

has anyone every done head studs, a guy on gm performance thought it might be good idea......thats if i went with the marine intake and planned on running more boost.

I have some for my 408....they are good if you run big boost or just like to swap heads a lot. The factory bolts are one-time use bolts. If you dont plan on pulling the heads or running 15+ pounds of boost then they arent needed, or unless you just want to spend money.

Other the the normal... id upgrade plugs to a suggested Gapping or plug, id make sure you have a new fuel filter and suggested fuel pump/system. Other then that most kits come with everything else.
