I have a 91 Chevy G20 conversion van that needs to be redone (New seats, dash[or at least gauges], carpet, bed frame, ect) and for the most part all the everything has been able to be found or so on except for new seats. Now when I say new seats I mean something like seats out of a new Denali or something similar. Can something like that be done? Thanks for the help guys!

It could be done....

Aren't stock coversion van seats way taller then SUV seats, as in they sit taller on the floor? That can always be addressed, but I think that would be the most difficult part. I think with an SUV seat you'd be sitting way too low. :dunno:

Its actually kind of weird, the front seats have box like metal compartment that they are mounted on that allows the seats to be normal seats for use. The back 2 seats have a desk chair like metal beam support that attaches to the floor and can be easily dis-attached from the bottom of the chair by unscrewing some very large bolts. I'm sure the front seats have a similar way of mounting the seats to the compartment. So all four seats are regular suv like seats with mounts that they are attached to which could be reattached to the new seats as long as I could find where to buy/make the new replacement seats.

You can bolt just about any bucket seat up to those pedastool's, but you might have to drill new holes or make some extension's if the holes from the other seats don't line up. I will look threw my pictures I have on my other computer and see if I can find a few pic's to help explain what I am talking about on the extension's.
