1990 camaro speed sensor problem?

I have replaced my borg warner T5 with a Tremec TKO 500 now the speed sensor is all out of whack at 5-20 mph it reads 40-85 over 45 it drops to zero any body experience this with your electronic speedometer and sensors any sugestions welcomed!

which speed sensor did you use ? I seem to remember there being different ones for different years ( different pulses per revolution )

It came already installed by tremec apparently it is for the ford mustang because the plug I used was from a mustang that fit the sensor so Im sure the pulse imput is different I noticed information for putting DIP switch in to correct some issues does this help correct this problem as well?
