Hi all I'm looking to install my Amp & Sub from other vehicle.
I now own a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab, had to sell the 90 K1500 was no longer practical.
So my questions are the following.
1. Does the dash remove easily by pulling, same setup as most GM vehicles ?
2. IF I decide not to put my head unit in the truck, and I decided to go with the PAC-GM1496 adaptor to get RCA output and remote on, I need to know the following:
A. If I turn down the bass on the head unit, will it drop the bass gain going to the amps signal.
If YES, then doesn't a PAC defeat the purpose of putting a sub in the vehicle ? Normally you drop the low frequencies to the factory speakers, and channel it all through the sub so as to save the life exptectency of the oem speakers, no ?
I'd appreciate any help possible on this.
Thanks !
