You should be in the 420-430 flywheel HP range with that combo. You should have absolutely no problem obliterating your 1 tire frier. Some tuning seems necessary. What do your heads flow? Also, depends what you consider "real fast". This is the setup my 377 has.

400 0.30 over ( 377 is obtained by using a 350 crank)
Ported Edelbrock RPM Heads 64 cc chambers
10.3:1 Compression on TRW Forged pistons and 5.7 rods.
Full length headers
RPM manifold
Holley 670 street avenger
Isky 274 Mega cam
1.6 Intake 1.5 exhaust roller rockers
Proform HEI

This setup dynoed at 446hp @ 5800rpm and 510 ft lbs @ 3300rpm. Its fast.

You need gears and a posi for sure. What does the converter flash to? A 3200rpm converter would've helped you out more. Carb is too small and sounds like it could use a good tuning in.
