Steel wool? I don't think so. You go from cloudy to scratches

Mothers Chrome Polish, its also for glass. I've used it on 2 of my trucks and I plan to do it to the other.

true, i heard the 0000 Super Fine steel wool is good for chrome and windows
I used 0000 steel wool on my window.......under the right light you can see faint swirls. 0000 steel wool is awesome for polishing almost anything, BUT it could mark the window. FYI.

#755 Duragloss glass polish. This is the only stuff that I have found to remove water spots/haze completly off of windows. I've tried steel wool, tooth pase, various compounds. You can get it at a local carquest. it does take a little elbow grease but it pulled some stuff off of my wifes vans glass I didn't think I could ever get off.

Don't post here much anymore, but 0000 steel wool and a 3 to 1 water/vinegar solution "WILL" get rid of most hard water spots without any noticeable scratching.
