they're gonna be struts. you'll need a strut spring compressor, but other than that, its easy.

Yup struts. Caddy's are real expensive, about 1k per corner. Dodges should be pretty cheap though.

the stratus has almost the same identical setup as my 2k neon. Its really easy it took me a day to actually replace both springs and struts but do yourself a favor rent the spring compressor from the parts store and use a impact gun, i went the cheap route with traditional clamps and a reg socket wrench...if i had those said items i figured it would have taken under 4 hours instead of 8-10 my arm hurt more that day than it did when i discovered i was growing up...lol

does it need to be aligned after messing with the struts? all i work on is old school stuff, haha

My caddy needed an alignment after putting the eibachs on so I would assume so.

its always a good idea to have it realigned

not sure about the suspension style of stratus's but i put Quick Struts in my 99 Intrepid in like no time, no spring compressor needed when you replace everything :) and my car did not require an alignment, the only adjustments on most cars are at the tie rods, althought some have adjustments where the strut meets the LCA

any parts store can get them, they are called quick struts, and if money is tight, ask and see if there are cheaper ones available(usually are)
