I've searched and searched and searched some more. Corsa discontinued the dB series universal mufflers, and nobody has any laying around in a warehouse or anything. I've called tons of places over the past 3 days. Actually had one guy who said he had it, I ordered it, ended up he didn't have it. Waiting on my refund... I'd had my heart set on a dB Black (either a 8332541 or 8332543 would work) but looks like I'm SOL.

Anyone have any suggestions on the closest thing I can get to it as far as sound and performance goes? I love the sound the dB Black mufflers put off.

I can make anything work, as long as it's no less than 2.5" in/out. 3" in/2.5" out would be acceptable too. Can't swing 3" in/out though. Right now I have a FM 70 3" in/2.5" dual out. Either offset in/center out, offset in/out opposites, or offset in/dual out would work for me.

Somebody give me some suggestions here, please! Can't take this Flowmaster sound much longer :-(

I would say magnaflow or a SLP loudmouth i suppose. :dunno:

Magnaflow has a tone kinda similar to my FM muffler that I don't care for now though. I want something with that raspy sound a Corsa gives.

No it doesn't, Magnaflow is nothing like the a Flowmaster internally besides the fact that they're both made of metal. Get a 14" case Magnaflow, when you get on it hard it'll have an agressive tone but not pop like glasspacks or straights would.

Yeah, you're right. They are very very different. I guess what I meant to say was I'm looking for a non-chambered muffler.

Did you check to see if www.streetsideauto.com has any of the Corsa Db's left? That's where I got mine and I think they still had them as of a few weeks ago. Worth a shot.

If they are all out or the price has become ridiculous enough for you to want to pass on them, I would look into SLP (not the loud mouth) or see if MBRP offers a universal muffler. Those two brands might be closest thing to offereing that unique Corsa sound. Bassani might have a few options too that might sound pretty close. Worse come to worse you give a smaller cased Magnaflow a try and you'll be leaps and bounds ahead of the Flowmaster experience.

Tried them, tried 888 Murrays, tried a bunch of other places. Nobody has them anywhere. Apparently they were discontinued at the beginning of the year. The one guy I talked to said being they were discontinued 8 months ago, and they only make 4% profit on online sales, it's unlikely I'll find one laying around in a warehouse :-/
