Anyone run these on their stuff? I blew out the driver side intake gasket on mine today right at the intake ports, not sure how, i'm only pushing 5psi! They were the Felpro 1205's, never had any issues with them before.

Anyone? No one has ever blown the gaskets out before? Maybe the intake bolts were not tight enough, seemed to be tight when i tore it apart last night. Could it be from hitting the rev limiter from the 1-2 shifts, it ramps up sooooo fast i cant shift fast enough to keep it from hitting it.

Are thoes the blue ones, I am using them also, BUT i am also used a thin bead of "RIGHT STUFF" on the water ports and intake ports, I have pushed 15lbs and not had an issue, Also make sure you use GOOD intake bolts and tq them down in seqence and the chekc them after a few heat cycles.. NOS guys use the right sutff sealer this stuff will handle a NOS backfire without breaking the seal :)

Yea they are the blue ones, i will give the "Right Stuff" a try and see if that takes care of it. I hope it was just a freek occurrence and not a re occurring problem, i'll check and make sure the intake is square as well as the heads before i put it back together. It actually blew the gasket apart at the intake ports and shoved them out!

Sounds like a weak gasket maybe? Might've knicked it a little when putting the blower setup on. I know you've ran that motor hard so far, but just a guess.
