View Full Version : can i ise this on my drill to remove polish??

ok so after the last thread i posted i got a lot of help from you guys.. but polishing... well it was a bitch .. so i have one of these laying around its from the plastic x headlight resotoration kit.. can i use this to remove the polish with out Fing anything up or scratching the paint..

I remove polish with a microfiber towel and my own two hands. Are you talking about applying polish. Which ever you are intending to do, I don't recommend using anything but the correct pads and orbital buffer machines for detailing.

orbital buffers?? one that doesnt spin 360 degrees right? and i am talking about removing not applying..

i bought somthing that was made to remove polish or a polishing kit.. what ever.. here is a story lol

so i go to autozone im getting somthing out of my truck . and i see a lady pull up in her new 300c srt-8 and i thought to my self ,nice.. im still chilling out side smoking a ciggerette, and i see a other lady go in the store. i was like hmm she must be returning somthing for her husband .. after i am done as i walk in an Other lady walks out.. i was like dam autozone has more girl customers then men now in days. and i see 2 more girls in there looking at air filters and one guy was cheching out the smelly things for cars ,,i like wow ..am i in the victoria secret or autozone...? what is this world coming to .. whats next girls working at my local tire shop?? i am not sexist but this amazed me ..

If it's hard to remove, that tells me you are applying it is sunlight. Your black paint is allowing that stuff to bake into it and it's making it extra stubborn to remove. I bet if you applied in the shade or in a garage it would wipe off with ease.

Definitely do NOT use that!! I can only imagine the swirl marks it could create.
