chrome polish residue

my pipes on my truck were lookin nasty so i got a bottle of chrome polish (liquid) and wiped all the chrome on my truck down but after i wiped it all off it left a white smeared lookin residue all around where i polished (especially around my 2500hd letters),ive pressure washed it twice and it looks like its gone but the next day its still there, any ideas on how to get it to go away?

take a tooth brush (soft or medium bristle) and trim it out. if its still there then clean the area with oops. the orange cleaner stuff like goo gone. make sure you rewax that area after you do that.
