I know, the old days of 4 hours are gone. Way more people used to be active on this site. I just asked that my current sig replace the truck pics with current ones, love the background and text. sheesh, C'MON MAN

Well I'm sure a lot of the people here that do have the photoshop skills to make you a sig actually have a life and aren't on the Signature Request section waiting for a new thread to pop up. I mean you didn't even give the post a full day before you bumped it (which you aren't supposed to do anyway)
Perhaps you should read this quote from here: http://www.fullsizechevy.com/showthread.php?287660-Please-don-t-Bump-or-TTT-your-sig-requests
Just some food for thought for those of you who think we aren't acting fast enough...
As one of the regular sig makers here, I can honestly say that it is rare that a request goes unnoticed. There may be stretches where myself and the others can't get to filling the requests within a given week, or within a given month in some cases, but please don't think that we're ignoring you. Not one of us is here full time to do this, just waiting for a new one to work on. So bumps within a day or two of the original post are actually rather rude IMO. What's even funnier is that I don't know about the other makers, but I prefer to work on a first-come first-serve basis and therefore, I work from the bottom of the forum up from oldest to newest. So if you're bumping your thread, you're only putting yourself at the end of the list as far as I'm concerned.

I still make them whenever I can but don't have all my old plug in's so I can only do the basics.

More patience definitely needed! Now I feel bad about bumping my sig request at all. I wasn't in a hurry but wasn't sure it had been seen but knowing that it'd probably take a few weeks to complete as we all have lives outside of FSC. Now that I read Cartman's post it puts a new perspective on it. I will definitely make note of that on my next sig request and just let it sit there knowing that it's been seen.

I don't speak for others but what I do is whenever I have time I'll go though the sig forum and look for the threads that have good pictures to work with, some of the pics you guys post are hard to work with. If you see your thread gets no response take new high res pictures.
