Ordered a replacement K&N for my 6.2. I've searched for a intake, but couldn't find anything, any info?

Banks used to make a kit that had a free flowing Drier duct looking tube that ran from the air cleaner housing to the fender or the core support is (wherever the intake is)
They don't make a "Cold air intake" for a 6.2 truck......
It is very possible though to install an Open element air filter ...YOu just have to make sure you get one with the right size hole in the bottom

Hey what style of air cleaner does that thing have on it? Same sort of round one that sits right on top of the intake like on a carb'd engine? Reason I ask is I have one of the stock air ducts from the air cleaner to the core support and a K&N round filter from when my 95 was stock that should fit the old round filter housing too.

They have a big old style air cleaner like a carbed engine would have but the hole in the bottom is rather large and on an OOBS the ram-air tube runs to the radiator support. not to the fender...
