What do you use to treat leather seats and does it give it that nice leather smell again? I have used this:

But I don't really like it. I have been considering getting some Mother's or Meguier's. I want to condition the seats to keep them from fading and cracking without having them feel greasy.

i use Lexol cleaner and conditioner on my buddies and wife's rides. first time i used it, the seats felt like i hauled 3 tons of bacon in the car. after reading the directions and applying it correctly, the seats were smooth, soft and not greasy at all. makes kid cleanup in the cars easier too.

I have used Meguiar's Gold Class cleaner/conditioner for several years and always with good results.

I thought poorboys was slang for Pepboys, opps.

What happened the first time that made it so greasy? And does it have the nice leather smell?

i just sprayed it on and left too much on the leather. with Lexol, you need to apply it with a sponge and wipe off any excess with a dry cloth. i can't comment on the leather smell tho, both vehicles i used it on have a heavy smell combo of kids, wet dog and cigarettes.

Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle-- haven't tried it yet but its on order. From some quick research it gives the most realistic leather smell for the longest period of time and offers good leather conditioning. Not over priced either, but shipping sux.
