Steering wheel swap?

Does anyone know if I can put an 02 silverado steering wheel on my 96 k2500? I want it for the radio controls. Mine has no airbag. Thanks!

unless you retro fit the newer head unit as well im pretty sure that the newer steering wheel wont control your factory head unit in your truck, assuming that it is the factory unit.

No, its aftermarket with a control wire for wheel controls. Will the actual steering wheel fit NP?
