Hopefully under $100? If not, at least under $200.

I'd like an pneumatic one, but my only decent sized compressor (80 gallon) is at my uncle's.

I went to a trade school so I understand the process from bare metal to clear coat to buffing and polishing ... I just never had to shop for tools while at the trade school until now ... the school had kick ass high end tools and I never had to worry about cost :mexsmoke:

Porter Cable 7424 or the 7424XP. XP is the newer version. I have had the 7424 version for over 6 years. I average about 75-85 details a year and this buffer has not skipped a beat. You may be able to find it under $100 if your lucky. I used to sell an entire package, buffer pads, etc for less than $200. Cheapest I have found lately is Ebay. There is a XP one on there for $116 with free shipping. I'm thinking about buying one of those myself. The place I used to buy mine, can't beat that price. You can also check places like AutoGeek. They have packages that you can purchase. They also have a few sales and ususally give you a percentage off if you are a new customer. As for the pads, I have used the Lake Country pads for years with great results.

Check autogeek. I picked up a new PC xp to replace my older model about a month ago from them. I ended up springing for a package deal. Well worth the money.
