I have a sct programmer that stores your factory tune and 3 tunes. Im upgrading to larger tires here in the next few days so i will need to send it in to get the speedo fixed. Does jesse or will he remove any tm? What about abuse mode what does it do? This is on a 03 1500hd which has the same tranny as a 2500hd and is the 6.0. What else should i have him change? I have had this in for a few years now, and haven't seen much of a gain other than the shifting. I am pretty sure there is no tm removed i remeber talking to him about this once and he said not to do it. Should i tell him to do it or not? Have you guys gotten him to remove tm lately?

If you didn't notice any gains than he did a crappy tune.

Im getting bigger tires, and have a shift kit now so im going to call him up and talk to him and have him redo it for the new tires and the shift kit. Going to try and get him to take out 75% of tm. Is there engine tm and tranny tm? Or is one of them abuse mode? I have the transgo shift kit how much tm should i have removed?

Well i just got off the phone with jesse at w4me. Found out some stuff i didn't know. I have the sct scanner that he custom tunes. I have a 91 mileage, 91 towing, and 91 race. He removes all engine tm, leaves abuse mode alone, leaves the tranny tm alone, but on the race mode he removes all tm. So im just going to send it in and have him retune it for my shift kit, and bigger tires. He said with no tm the tranny would proably only last 30000 miles. Now that i know i have the option of having no tm im am happier. Im going to have him check the whole tune make sure all the tables are good also. Hopefully it will be a lot better.
