Hello,
A few months ago I noticed a purpley buildup crap on my window but I thought nothing of it. Now it's worse and it completley ruins the look of my truck. It looks completley retarted. Is there some solution I can put on it to fix it? Should I take it to a detailer or something? What can I do to fix my window? It needs to be fixed.
Heres a picture of the screwed up window

the pictures of that guy's windows arent the same. Those are like spots from water drying on his window, my problem is my window is freaking purple. my question is how do i get the purple off my window.

What you are explaining just sounds like your tint has faded and turned purple.
Is the window scratched?

The purple sounds like bad tint. If you have actual water spots, super fine steel wool and glass cleaner work.

Based on the picture would you guys say that my window is messed up like because of the tint?

The window isnt messed up, just bad tint that needs to be replaced

i just had it done like 3 months ago and i took it back and the guy said its hard water buildup and a glass place could buff it out

Well that was my guess. Either have it buffed out or try the steel wool

I had the same sort of thing happen on my 98 and I thought it may have been the tint at first so I pulled it off and retinted it. To my surprise it still had the weird color to it and upon closer examination the window was scratched on the outside from mud and what not on the outside felt. That is why I asked if your window was scratched.
You can sort of see what I am talking about in this picture.

I had BAD water spots on my windows and actually just finished getting them off with nothing but some Mother's Chrome Polish, some 0000 (super fine) steel wool, and some microfiber rags...my windows look amazing!!! It did take a lot of elbow grease, but they look practically brand new! I sprayed some rainx on them and wiped it off, so now they'll bead water!
