has anyone painted there after market rims?

well like the tittle says id like to know how hard it has and what all did you do to them and for about how much.i really like the flat black look,and right now i have the pro comp rock crawler rims that are shinny black..but i just dont like them any more being shinny.so i want to paint them flat black.jut want to know how hard it would really be.

I can't say I've done rock crawler rims or anything. I did a stock set of rims for my 300zx a while ago with spray paint. Went silver. I used adhesive promotor, primer, and an enamel silver with a metallic finish. good results. i'm ocd, so i needed to paint them inside instead of outside due to some grass and whatnot, but overall i'd rate my experience about 7 out 10. The hard part is sanding the finish off to start...
