I have an 06 ccsb 1500 4x4 with a 5.3 and 4l603. I put a transgo hd2 kit with a vette servo in the tranny. The seperator plate is drill .082 i believe. My question is, i like the quickness of the shifts but they are a little harder than what i like. My question is can i leave all of the stuff from the kit in tranny and change the seperator plate to one that is drilled smaller to reduce the firmness or would i need to take all the shift kit stuff out. I just want it to shift quicker but not snatch quite as hard. thanks

how many spacers did you put in the accumulator housing? if any remove them.
custom tune installed? if so get a retune to modify line pressure settings(ie lower them)

No spacers were used. I have a blackbear tune, and justin said he has already turned the pressures below stock settings. Would it hurt to turn them down just a touch more, actually 1-2 gear change is good, 2-3 is what is a little firm. And if i'm wot from whatever gear it downshifts too back to drive is a little hard but i don't mind that. I guess the best thing would be is to get justing to turn the pressure on 2-3 change down a touch.
