Hey guys I have a '92 extended cab chevy that the rocker panels on the extended cab have rusted through. I would like to fix this myself if I can because honestly I don't have the money to pay someone else to do it. Has anyone else dealt with this problem?? Any ideas on what I could do?? I'll try and post some pictures of the panels themselves tomorrow

You are looking at a pretty big undertaking but it can be done. You need new cab corners and to do it right, you are going to have to remove the bed. It involves cutting the old parts of the body off, removing all traces of rust, and fitting the replacement panels in and welding them into place. Then you will have to blend the joint with a filler, block it out, prime, and paint. I am betting you can find some DIY resources on the web that deal with this.
