4L60E trans problems.....

Im new to the forums. I just picked up a 96 yukon from a friend of mine and it won't go into 3rd or overdrive. I need some input on what I should do before I go out and buy another transmission. Any info would be a great help.

get anothe rtransmission the 3-4 is gone in the trans common issue.

I would rebuild before buying used or get a good warranty and low miles
