Just kidding. Started stripping a few cabinet doors for a re-stain, wood is refinish-able, but taking way too many hours to get it back to a perfect finish.

Thinking white paint may be the way to go? Just can't picture it. Can get a better angle if required.

that's white (half ass coat of paint but you get the picture), I'm gonna try chocolate brown next, I've always liked the dark colors (chocolate brown with stainless steel appliances)

The chocolate looks better than I thought. I may consider going that route, as the kitchen is very bright as is.

White is pretty traditional in a kitchen, i usually don't watch to many remodeling shows but i do know off set color looks pretty good if done right. But i guess you should grab a pint of white paint of your choice to, i couldn't do a great job on the white because its hard to do that in photo shop lol.
